Elif Refig
Elif Refiğ was born and raised in İstanbul. After graduating from Bosphorus University and working on the editorial board of Altyazı monthly film magazine for three years, she started working in the film industry. In 2004 she was admitted to Columbia University Film School and moved to NYC to continue pursuing her M.F.A. degree. She is currently preparing her graduation thesis film and expect to receive her degree in 2008. Elif is one of the three founders of GoodGang Productions\NYC, an independent film collective which achieves a spirit for true collaboration in terms of different approaches to film production. |
