Mehmet Ayanoglu

Mehmet Ayanoglu, whose involvement in fine arts dates back to his childhood, holds a B.A. degree in painting from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in Istanbul, Turkey. Assisting the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts for the International Istanbul Biennials for four years earned him close contact with curators and artists from around the world. Following his graduation, he moved to the United States to pursue graduate studies and received his M.A. in Communication Arts from the New York Institute of Technology.

Ayanoglu, whose work has been exhibited at Mimar Sinan University and in a New York group exhibition titled In/Out, had his first solo show Release Me at My Moon Restaurant & Art Space in 2005. His work has also been published in Hillsider and Maison Française magazines. The artist currently works and resides in New York City.
