Umut Aral
Umut Aral was in Istanbul in 1976. He studied management
at Bosphorus University, and received his MFA from Marmara Universitys
Cinema and TV Department. He joined the Bosphorus University Actors while
he was still a student. He acted, directed and wrote plays. After graduation
he started to work in the film industry as an assistant director and production
manager. He has been working as commercial film director in Atlantik Film
since 2002. His first short film otuzdört (thirtyfour)
was nominated for several national awards and selected for international
film festivals in 2000. Çarpisma (Crash) is his second
short film. |
