Elif Özmenek
Elif Özmenek, is a graduate of Middle East Technical University and the founder of “Öykülü Geceler”. She holds an MA in International Relations from Columbia University and works as a correspondent for TV 8 and Voice of America. She has directed three short films, Tiny Detail, Story Nights, and A Tulip in the Desert, as well as a documentary, Eyewitness of the Ground Zero. Özmenek is currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at the New School University. Her production credits include eleven “Öykülü Geceler” events and the first Turkish literature festival in New York City.
