Ali Perret (piano, keyboards)
Ali Perret is the founder of the bands Istanbul Jazz Quartet, Acid Trippin, Mingus Trippin, and Free ‘ Key Trio. He has played in various international festivals and jazz clubs, and has been featured in numerous radio and television broadcasts in Europe, North America, and Australia. As one of the founding members of the Istanbul Bilgi University Music Department, he chaired the department between 2001 and 2003. He has lived in New York since 2003 and has worked both as a composer and a performer with musicians such as Craig Harris, L. Butch Morris, Ricky Ford, Arto Tunçboyacıyan, Carla Cook, and Erkan Oğur. Perret has recorded a number of albums, including Acid Trippin and Midnite Rebels released from BMG Türkiye.
