Varlik
Özmenek
Varlik Özmenek is a journalist and author of two books. He was born in the
Village Institute of Mahmudiye-Eskisehir in 1943. He graduated from the
Teachers Training School in Konya and earned his bachelor's degree from
the Ankara University School of Journalism and Public Relations and began
his journalistic career at Imece. In 1968, he became one of the first
program producers for TRT. In 1972, Özmenek returned to print media and
began working as a writer, reporter, and editor at various newspapers and
journals. Between 1978 and 2003, he produced news programs and wrote editorials
for Turkish radio stations in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Norway,
Denmark, and Belgium. Özmenek is currently publishing his work at www.sansursuz.com,
a web-based newspaper known for its progressive stand. |
