Nedim Katgi (Conductor, Keyboards)
Nedim Katgi was born in 1955 in Istanbul. He graduated from the Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory of Turkish Music in 1980 and studied vocal training and violin in the Municipal Conservatory of Istanbul. Mr. Katgi also worked as a teacher at the ITU State Conservatory of Music. He has played in the orchestras of Sezen Aksu, Ajda Pekkan, Kayahan, and Nükhet Duru. Mr. Katgi has lived in the United States since 1983 and has performed at Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, the Kennedy Center, and Warner Theatre. He currently teaches music at the Atatürk School and conducts the New Jersey Turkish Music Chorus.
