Mustafa Kocabasi
Mustafa Kocabasi was born in 1958 in Istanbul. He received his Bachelor of Arts in photography from Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts in 1985. Between 1989 and 1992, he worked as a photography instructor in Yildiz University's Graduate School of Photography. He has exhibited his work in various joint exhibitions in Turkey and has received several major awards, including the European Kodak Award (1991, First Prize of Turkey), Cumhuriyet Newspaper Yunus Nadi Photography Award (1991), and the Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Culture Second National Photography Exhibition (1985, First Prize). His work has been published in various magazines, newspapers, books, and albums. Mr. Kocabasi presently lives in New York.
