Ali and Sudi are workers at a construction site in an Istanbul slum. Their only dream is to accumulate enough money to go to Italy as illegal workers. One evening, Nizamettin - the owner of the construction site and the chauffeur of a mob boss - brings a corpse to the site to bury. Ali and Sudi realize what is going on, and afraid that the corpse will be found, change its location. The next day, Nizamettin figures out what they have done, and the two friends unwillingly become involved in the situation. When the murderers of the original corpse - a group of corrupt policemen led by a man named Şevket - return with another body to be buried, Ali and Sudi have no choice but to cooperate. As the corpses keep coming, the friends find themselves transformed into gravediggers who make money by disposing of dumped bodies.
