On April 23, 2003 the border separating the Greek and Turkish communities in Cyprus was opened to passage for the first time in thirty years. Thousands of people started rushing to the border to visit the villages they had left behind years ago. Hangi Kıbrıs? (Which Cyprus?) tells the stories of these people traveling to "the other side" of their divided country - of old friends finding each other again and of their joy and sadness. In hundreds of interviews with politicians, peace activists, journalists, clergyman and refugees from both sides, hot issues including the possibility of living together again, the nationalist influences on both communities, the missing persons and how to heal the wounds of the war crimes of the past are addressed. Presenting a complete and objective picture of the Cyprus problem, Hangi Kıbrıs? is a powerful film about a country divided by war and longing for peace.
