Application Deadline for Call for Short Films: "Films about Conscience" Project

 

 

 

Moon and Stars Project and The American Turkish Society invite applications for:

The “Films about Conscience” Project
Submission Deadline: September 15, 2011

Initiated by the International Hrant Dink Foundation in 2009 and supported by the proceeds of the Special Tribute Concert for Hrant Dink by The American Turkish Society and Moon and Stars Project, the project continues to make visible the new faces of conscience through new short films.

 


 

 

  

Participants are invited to upload their films to the website www.vicdanfilmleri.org until September 15, 2011. The films can be 5 minutes of length at most and can be of any genre, and will be watched, rated and commented by the public on the project website.

An international jury consisting of Arsinee Khanjian, Costa Gavras, Cüneyt Cebenoyan, Ferzan Özpetek, Hale Soygazi, Nadje Al-Ali, Rakel Dink and Serge Avedikian will select the best 20 films. The selected films will be presented as part of private screenings held within the scope of festivals and special events on conscience. By the result of the committee’s evaluation, one of the participants will be awarded with an incentive scholarship to be stated by the Foundation.
