Mimaroglu, the 82 year-old musician internationally known for his compositions in which he utilized electronics, is equally at home producing records for major popular and jazz artists, including many who were signed to Atlantic Records. As an executive and in-house producer for Atlantic he was responsible for recordings of Charles Mingus, Modern Jazz Quartet, John Cage, Eric Salzman, Luciano Berio, Idil Biret, Meral Guneyman, Vladimir Ussachevsky. Janis Siegel, and many others. He also collaborated with Jean DuBuffet on Coucou Bazar at the Guggenheim museum. His own label, Finnadar, that specialized in contemporary works, was highly respected for its innovative and important recordings. Mr. Mimaroglu both studied and taught at Columbia University, was active in the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center and has lectured and written widely on music.

Meral Guneyman who has garnered first prize in some of the most prestigious competitions in the world of piano playing including the Buffalo Philharmonic's Young Artists Competition, The William Kapell Competition, Naumburg Competition (finalist), Juilliard's Chopin Competition and East West Artists' International Competition, will perform works of Mimaroglu, and other works from her discography that were produced by Mr. Mimaroglu, as well as works by Gershwin, Ellington, and Hyman. She has concertised worldwide in her capacity as Turkish State Artist. In addition to her work as a classical musician, Ms. Guneyman transitions to the jazz genre and has appeared frequently as part of a duo with jazz great, Dick Hyman, with whom she collaborated on a highly praised recent CD, Playful Virtuosity. Ms. Guneyman records
exclusively for the Ryko label (distributed by Warner/Elektra Atlantic Corp.). Ms. Guneyman is a graduate of the Juilliard School. Renowned vocalist, Janis Siegel (Manhattan Transfer) will make a guest appearance, collaborating with Ms. Guneyman on Gershwin songs.
