LUCY YORK STRUEVER

Lucy York Struever ounded York Dance Works in 2005. This summer, she participated in the Choreographers Lab at Jacob’s Pillow under the direction of Annie B Parsons and Paul Lazaar of Big Dance Theatre. She studied theatre at the Baltimore School for the Arts and has studied violin as well as, of course, dance since childhood. Influential teachers have been: Carol Bartlett, the head of Dance at the Peabody Prep where she took her first composition classes, Milton Myers, Aszure Barton, Mark Dendy, and Doug Varone. She is active throughout NYC as an actor, dancer and choreographer.
